Transformed complex insurance data into actionable workflows across multiple applications.

My Role & Collaboration

As a UX/UI designer at Ennabl, I approached my responsibilities by grounding UI decisions in user needs and business goals, ensuring designs were clear, scaleable, and accessible. I partnered closely with product and engineers to translate complex workflows into intuitive interfaces, leveraging design systems and thoughtful visual hierarchy to improve usability and consistency across the product.

Key Responsibilities

✓ Designed, maintained, and scaled the design and component library to ensure consistency and efficiency across web and tablet experiences.

✓ Partnered with other product designers to map and refine user flows grounded in business needs and strategic goals.

✓ Translated business provided user insights into workable, intuitive interface solutions from wireframes to high-fidelity mockups.

✓ Built interactive prototypes and walked cross-functional stakeholders through them, explaining design decisions and validating direction before engineering implementation.

Strategic Approach

I aligned visual design and interaction decisions with user insights, product goals, and long term scalability. I focused on systemized UI patterns, accessibility, and clear design rationale while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver intuitive, high quality experiences across complex product flows.

Design Process & Problem Solving

I synthesized stakeholder input into a coherent UX approach grounded in empathy, clarity, and usability. Through iterative sketching, layout refinement, and prototype testing with business partners, I identified and solved key experience bottlenecks, such as:

  • Simplifying workflows with clear visual hierarchy

  • Reducing cognitive load in data heavy screens

  • Establishing consistent components and interaction patterns that scale

This problem solving ensured users could efficiently navigate complex insurance decisions and growth insights without unnecessary friction.

Impact & Outcomes

My work resulted in:

  • A cohesive, scalable design system that accelerated feature development and improved cross-platform consistency.

  • Streamlined workflows that reduced ambiguity and enhanced user confidence when interacting with complex insurance data.

  • Strong collaboration between product, design, and business teams, resulting in alignment across priorities and strategic vision.

These improvements supported Ennabl’s mission to help brokers and agents spend less time reconciling data and more time making informed decisions that grow their business.

Lessons Learned

One of the biggest challenges I faced was not having direct access to end users. While partnering closely with business stakeholders helped me build strong relationships and sharpen my collaboration skills, it also reinforced how critical consistent user testing is to effective product design. Direct user feedback provides nuance that proxies can’t fully capture revealing unmet needs, validating assumptions, and uncovering friction points that may otherwise go unnoticed.

This experience strengthened my belief that regular user testing is essential for designing confident, user-centered solutions and reinforced my advocacy for incorporating user feedback earlier and more often in the design process.
